Every business starts somewhere, and for Viva Italia, that somewhere was zero. No website, no social following, no existing customer base.

We built the whole marketing foundation from scratch: brand presence, website, and a campaign strategy designed to get a brand new business in front of the right people from day one.

This is the work we love most, because it's proof you don't need years of history to build real momentum, you need the right foundations from the start.

If you're launching something new, or you inherited a marketing setup that's never actually had a strategy behind it, let's talk.

Running Google Ads without a strategy is just an expensive way to find out what doesn't work.

One of our eCommerce clients came to us with ad spend going out the door and not much coming back in. We rebuilt the account from the ground up: proper targeting, tighter budgets, and campaigns actually structured around how people search before they buy.

The outcome was a genuine lift in performance from the same spend, not more of it.

If you're running ads and you're not sure whether they're actually working for you, that's exactly the conversation we have every day.

How does a local golf club turn slow, manual admin into a real revenue stream?

We sat down with Griffith Golf Club and rebuilt the systems behind the scenes: bookings, payments and day-to-day operations, so the team could spend less time chasing paperwork and more time running the club.

The result: smoother operations and new revenue streams that didn't exist before.

This is the bit most businesses miss. Marketing isn't just ads and posts, it's fixing the operational stuff that's quietly costing you sales every week.

If your systems are working against you instead of for you, we'd love to have a look.

I live in Griffith, NSW. Over 500km from the nearest tech hub.

Most weeks that means I'm not in the room. Last week I made sure I was, I travelled to Sydney for a bunch of events and managed to attend the and event, the kind of room where the conversations that shape what's coming next 𝘒𝘀𝘡𝘢𝘒𝘭𝘭𝘺 happen.

My read on Grok that night was blunt: not secure enough for how our systems run. No logins, no data, no access, full stop for me.

I didn't adopt it.

BUT I love a good workaround, and I wanted to see how far I could make it flex without ever touching anything of ours or passing a login or 2FA code.

In one day I worked out how to tailor Grok's search using hunter and gatherer logic, feeding results to my AI Head of Staff at Grok called "Icebreaker", who then feeds my Head of Staff at the CanTicket Command Centre aka Candy for sales and lead gen. No logins. No data access. Just a filtered signal moving one way.

Has it worked? So far, yes. Two seats and a panel invite to present, off usage I wasn't even allocating or paying for.

That's the part of this business nobody sees from Griffith. The distance doesn't make me cautious about showing up, it makes me hungrier for it. I don't get to bump into these rooms by accident, so when I'm in one, I don't leave with a badge and a LinkedIn connection. I leave with something I can actually use, built safely, on my own terms.

Neat tech, used safely. Not "adopt the shiny new tool." Not "reject it because it's new." Work out exactly what you can extract from it without inheriting its risk.

If you're building something serious from somewhere unusual, let me know where in the comments below! πŸ‘‡

Most weeks that means I'm not in the room. Last week I made sure I was, I travelled to Sydney for the Cursor and Grok event, the kind of room where the conversations that shape what's coming next actually happen.

My read on Grok that night was blunt: not secure enough for how our systems run. No logins, no data, no access. I didn't adopt it on the spot.

What I did instead was spend the following days working out exactly what it could do for me without ever touching anything of ours. No logins. No data access. And by the end of it, I had it finding me people worth talking to about the Command Centre.

That's the part of this business nobody sees from Griffith. The distance doesn't make me cautious about showing up, it makes me hungrier for it. I don't get to bump into these rooms by accident. So when I get in one, I don't leave with a badge and a LinkedIn connection, I leave with something I can actually use, built safely, on my terms.

Neat tech, used safely. That's the whole exercise. Not "adopt the shiny new tool," not "reject it because it's new." Work out exactly what you can extract from it without inheriting its risk.

If you're building something serious from somewhere nobody expects it, you have no choice but to lean in!

Melbourne, mark your calendar πŸ“

Our founder Cassandra is heading to TechHaus Melbourne.

Thursday 1 October, she's joining the panel "Who's Watching the AI? Testing, Monitoring and Trusting What You Ship" alongside Andrew Ballard from SpatioTemporal.

It's the exact question CanTicket was built to answer: if AI is doing the work, who's watching what it costs, and whether it's actually worth it?

Tickets are limited and curated, this isn't a big conference crowd.

If you're in Melbourne and building with AI, come find us in the room.
