It was raining. I was wet and muddy. Even the fluoro collar workers hid under what little shelter I had, but the drone kept flying and doing its job. Really liking a drone with an IP55 rating that doesn’t get put off by water!

Yet another reason I don't trust AI!!!

I asked AI to work out drone flight areas for inspections on house slabs that I am doing a lot of. The markers in the middle of the map are for a real site I completed recently. The other four markers are the corners of the box that AI reckons I need to fly over to do the inspection!!Just how many batteries would I need for that job!

It did get the orientation right, but not much else!
There are some places where I use AI tools a lot, and AI can be a very useful and indispensable tool, but it is far from infallible. I always confirm AI tools before I trust them.

We are actually flying in the rain! Might be hard to tell from the photo, but we are. With the previous drone we had quite a few jobs that were disrupted due to rain, so when we bought this one, the ability to fly in the rain was very welcome. Guess what? No drones today because tomorrow we are recording a concert - "Lucky Premonition: Mundy-Turner 30th Anniversary".
