I posted this a couple of months ago and considered it important enough to repost. It's a great idea to fill in the health app on your iPhone. If you enter your stats and information, it will be available to first responders in case of an incident. Name, blood type, emergency contacts, medications etc. When your phone is locked, people can hit the emergency option and have critical info about you. It also helps with finding the owner of a lost phone. I've set it up for all my family and believe it to be an invaluable tool.

I had a lovely lady today who dropped her phone in water and instantly thought "I've got to put in rice to absorb the water"! Please don't do this! Cook the rice and eat it but please don't put your phone in rice. If it hasn't had a screen replacement, iPhones after the 12, are pretty much waterproof for a quick dunk. If the screen has been replaced, not waterproof and water will ruin the screen. Get it to a repairer ASAP before things start to corrode (24 hours).

It would seem that there are many panicked people out there with iPhone 8 and iPhone X issues of not being able to connect to the mobile network. It would appear that a fix has been issued by Apple. It is reported that by connecting to a Wi-Fi network and accepting updated carrier settings that full function will be restored to the affected phones. Good luck!
