Sam’s Spares is a WA-based charity and social enterprise creating paid employment for neurodivergent individuals by refurbishing donated IT, reducing e-waste, and providing free technology to those who need it most. We collect donated IT equipment from businesses and organisations across Western Australia, securely process and refurbish it, and give technology a second life through affordable sales and community digital-access programs. Our social enterprise model uses revenue from refurbished technology, repairs and other services to create sustainable, meaningful employment for neurodivergent people while reducing electronic waste. Since launching, Sam’s Spares has provided thousands of refurbished devices to people experiencing digital disadvantage. Today, we work with charities, community organisations, education providers and corporate partners to increase digital inclusion across WA. What we do:
• Refurbished laptops, desktops, monitors and IT equipment
• Computer repairs and diagnostics
• Corporate IT donations and secure data destruction
• Digital access programs through community partners
• Technology support for charities and not-for-profits
• IT training and mentoring
• Corporate volunteering
• E-waste reuse and responsible recycling
