The Great Pyramid Race is not your average running event - it is a never-ending uphill scramble, followed by a controlled downhill free fall.

Held at Walshs Pyramid near Gordonvale in Far North Queensland, the event draws runners ready to take on one of Australia’s most iconic and challenging races, alongside a full program of races for all ages and abilities.

The team came to us with a clear vision for their medals, and we brought it to life with one shared custom mould.

Every participant received an antique-finished medal - a special memento of a seriously tough achievement. For the place getters, we used the same mould with shiny gold, silver and copper finishes, creating a clear distinction while keeping production costs economical.

It is a great example of how thoughtful design choices can give an event both a premium finish and a practical budget.

Got an idea for your next event? Bring it to us and we will help turn it into something memorable in the most economical way possible.

A thoughtful event deserves products that feel like they belong together.

For St Hilda's School, Gold Coast’s She Leads Possera Summit, we created a coordinated range of lanyards, pens and pins to support a day centred on connection, confidence and the next generation of female leaders.

She Leads brings together Year 11 students from across South-East Queensland for meaningful conversations and fresh perspectives - with this year’s Human in the Loop theme asking what it means to lead with humanity in an AI-shaped world.

From registration lanyards through to small keepsakes participants can take home, consistent event products help create a polished experience and carry your event identity through every detail.

If you are planning an upcoming school, corporate or community event, we can help create a cohesive range of custom products that work together from start to finish.

When Tenant Creek Athletics Club came to us for a new logo, they wanted it to feel unmistakably local.

Their brief centred around the colours and landscapes of Tennant Creek - red earth, brilliant blue skies, green grass and trees, the Frew River Waterhole in the Davenport Ranges, and the iconic Devil’s Marbles.

Most importantly, they wanted to incorporate an animal with a special connection to the area: the small spiny-tailed lizard, known locally as the Nyinkka.

We created a round badge design, with the Nyinkka curling around the bottom and the Tennant Creek landscape sitting proudly in the centre. The result is a logo that captures the club, its location and its local story all in one.

If your local club logo needs a bit of a glow-up, give us a call. We’d love to help bring your club’s story to life.

As preparations begin for the 2026 Riordan King of the Mountain, we’re looking back at the 2025 medals - a perfect fit for an event with such a big story behind it.

First held in 1978, the original Wycheproof King of the Mountain saw competitors carry 63.5kg bags of wheat one kilometre to the summit of Mount Wycheproof, officially the world’s smallest mountain. You can learn more about its history in the ABC iview Backroads episode on Wycheproof.

The event was revived in 2023 and returns on Saturday 26 September 2026, with 10 race categories, a community picnic, medal presentations, food trucks, free kids’ entertainment and the AFL Grand Final on the big screen.

Wooden medals can be just as detailed, layered and memorable as metal - while giving your event a completely different feel. If you’re planning an event and want wooden medals with plenty of wow factor, get in touch with Creative Promotion + Products.

Last weekend, the Tassal Group Airlie Beach Marathon Festival once again brought the running community together in one of Australia’s most beautiful locations.

We’ve been lucky enough to work with the team for more than seven years, creating their event merchandise and branding each year - from participant shirts, singlets and visors to medals, media walls, tablecloths and finish-line ribbons.

When you’re running an event, there are already a million moving parts. Having one person manage the design, sourcing, ordering and delivery of all your event items makes the process so much easier - and means everything feels cohesive on the day.

One contact. One consistent look. Less chasing suppliers. More time to focus on delivering an amazing event.

If you’re planning a run, triathlon, festival or community event, we’d love to help bring it all together.

Not all event maps need to look like a blurry Google Maps screenshot.

Whether you're organising a fun run, trail race, triathlon or festival, we can create a custom map that actually looks like part of your event branding.

We can design:
• Course maps so participants know exactly where they're headed.
• Elevation profiles so they know when those "little hills" are actually mountains.
• Aid station and checkpoint maps.
• Event precinct maps showing everything from registration and parking to the coffee van and, of course, the beer tent.

The best part? You don't need to be an artist.

Send us a screenshot, a hand-drawn sketch on the back of a napkin, or even a collection of random notes, and we'll work our magic to turn it into a clear, professional map your participants will actually want to use.

Because a great event deserves a great map.

When your event branding flows across every touchpoint, it creates an experience participants remember.

We recently worked with Running Wild NSW on the Mt Solitary Ultra, creating consistency across both the event apparel and finisher medals.

Held in the spectacular Blue Mountains, the Mt Solitary Ultra is a challenging 45km trail run that circles the Jamison Valley, taking runners through rugged climbs, technical trails, creek crossings and breathtaking views. It's one of Australia's most iconic trail running experiences.

The team supplied the incredible shirt artwork, which we produced on our Moonlite Performance shirts. We then designed a matching wooden finisher medal, incorporating the colours from the shirt design and carrying design elements through to the ribbon to create one cohesive look.

When your shirts, medals, trophies and merchandise all work together, your event feels more professional and leaves a stronger impression on participants. Those small details help create a memorable race-day atmosphere and reinforce your event brand long after runners have crossed the finish line.

If you're planning your next running event and want seamless, consistent designs across your shirts, medals, trophies and merchandise, we'd love to help bring your vision to life.

Four events. One medal series.

Created for the 2025 Hamilton Island’s Endurance Series, these custom antique gold medals feature hidden magnets, allowing each event medal to stack together into one complete collection. Each medal featured the event symbol, with each viewable when stacked togetehr.

Set in the stunning Whitsundays on the Great Barrier Reef, the series includes the Hilly Half Marathon, Great Whitehaven Beach Run, Triathlon and Ocean Swim.

A great example of how a medal can become part of the journey, not just the finish line.

We have created another unique stacking medal for their 2026 events, matching their new branding. Head over to their page to sign up for their remaining 2026 events.
