The recent summit in Brisbane brought with it the opportunity for local difference makers to discuss important health topics in front of a global audience. A long-term friend of 3Dme, Dimity Dornan (AO) spoke on Human Bionics at a panel for Improving Human Life, led by Professor Ian Frazer (creator of the HPV vaccine against cervical cancer), and at the Innovation 20 conference, both at City Hall.
Further, Dimity's leading paediatric Auditory-Verbal and Implantable Technologies organisation, Hear and Say, was represented by a case study as part of the Improving Human Life section at the Brisbane Global café before the G20 meeting and at a breakfast for the Indian Prime Minister. Through the power of cochlear implants, Hear and Say enables deaf children to hear, listen and speak.
