The report opens with the case of Jarmarus Brown, an Orange City, Florida, police officer who allegedly searched his ex-girlfriendās license plate, along with plates belonging to her close family members, more than 100 times while on patrol. Colleagues noticed the activity and warned him to stop, but Brown allegedly kept using the easy-to-access Flock system to stalk her.
Dozens of officers have been fired, and some arrested, for abusing Flockās AI-powered license plate reader systems used by police departments across the US.
