A special shout-out, to the big boss, the man who started it all, Wade Hughes.

You might know Wade from his active involvement in the community with his Rotary Club of Gladstone Inc, from the many years he spent at Souths Hockey - Gladstone, or at swimming clubs, or at Gladstone Touch Association Inc, but anyone that truly knows Wade will know that he is a successful, proud businessman of Newprint HRG.

Wade started his apprenticeship with Modern Printers in 1969 and only 9 years later, he made the decision to take over the business and make it his own.

For the past 48 years, Wade has continuously strived to provide Gladstone & surrounds with superior solutions in print.

Whilst our ABN and banking details have changed since recently consolidating with Gladstone Printing Services, the heart of our business has not, Wade still turns up every day.

We want to acknowledge Wade for all of the hard work and dedication he has poured in over the years. We think he has probably earned an RDO or two (but we know he won’t take them!).

A huge thank you to Ben and the team at Newprint HRG for their continued support of the Gladstone BBQ Festival!

Once again, they’ve done an incredible job producing our corflute signs, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have such a fantastic local business backing our event year after year.

Over the coming weeks, you’ll start seeing our corflutes popping up all around the region. Keep your eyes peeled!

📸 Spot one? Snap a photo, post it in the comments, and you could WIN a prize!

We love seeing our community get behind the festival, and this is a fun way to spread the word while giving something back.

Thanks again to Ben and everyone at Newprint HRG for helping us bring the Gladstone BBQ Festival to life. We appreciate your ongoing support and commitment to our community!

Very exciting announcement! We've continued our investment in our business, and the local community!

We're excited to announce the addition of a new digital printing press to our current capabilities! The Konica Minolta AccurioPress C4070 is a significant upgrade to our current small and medium run, digital paper printing capabilities. Capable of inline saddle stitching and booklet finishing, this machine is designed to produce a massive range of short and medium run printed products.

This decision was made to support the growing amount of businesses and organisations that require fast turnaround, high quality printed products, produced locally and on demand! We're committed to meeting our customers needs and delivering a better service experience.

Wishing all our followers a safe and happy Easter! 🐰🐰

The team at Newprint HRG will be taking a small break over the Easter period. We'll be operating with reduced staff in some areas and as a result, our response times might be affected.

Don't stress, your work is very important to us and we will work hard to catch back up on our return!

Have a great break and we'll see you on the other side! 🐣

The new year has started with a bang 💥

January has been full throttle at Newprint HRG, and we couldn’t be more proud of what our team has delivered to kick off 2026.

We’ve installed eye-catching shopfront signage helping local businesses stand out on the street, rolled out site-spec vehicle signage ready for work on the road, completed privacy frosting in classrooms to create practical and professional learning spaces, and brought brands to life with vibrant shop and window displays.

It’s been a huge start to the year, and we’re grateful to work alongside so many hardworking businesses across our region.

If you spot your signage in this post, make sure you 👍 like, tag your business, and share it with your network. Let’s support each other and grow together in 2026 🚀

If you’re planning upgrades this year, now’s the time to get started. Let’s make your brand impossible to miss.
