This olympic torch from the Sydney Olympic games came to us "framed"

Im using that word lightly....it was shocking. ....the back of the torch was covered with liquid nails that had been used to hold the torch in place.

The customer wanted to keep the layout and the matting the same and once we eventually got the glue off the torch we got rid of the mdf and everything else that 2as not conservation

It now has and a removable backing so the torch can come out for the grand kids to take for show and tell at school.

This is true, conservation framing and we have been doing it properly for 50+years

Don't trust your precious items with cheap framers . ..theres a reason its cheap

This bracelet has been handed down for many generations to be worn at the daughters wedding.

When the last female in the line had worn it it was placed away in a drawer.

With no more females in the direct family line it was decided it should be displayed.

Conservation framing means if it ever needed to, it could be removed and worn.

For now its housed safely in a frame behind art glass for protection and perfect viewing

Clear glazing will never give you the clarity that artglass does.
