Most Google Vids projects look like a slide deck with a play button on it.
Not because Vids isn't capable — but because most people stop at the default text box and never scroll far enough to find what's actually in there.
There's a full library of pre-made animated text templates sitting one scroll down from the basic options. You can ungroup them, animate each word separately, control the direction and timing, and have a title that genuinely moves.
In our latest How-To, we take a flat "August 2026 Recap" title and turn it into a proper animated opener in under five minutes. All inside Google Workspace. No third-party editor.
The single setting worth knowing: separate enter and exit animations. Tick it, and your text stops disappearing halfway through the scene.

If your team is already paying for Google Workspace, this is capability you own but probably aren't using.
