Hey, I’m Jan! My passion is an urge to express the splendour of nature, vivacity of colour, and richness of texture, through Photography, Drawing, Painting, and Digital Design. My speciality is unique angles and perspectives. I particularly enjoy creative endeavours which provide opportunities for the fusion of digital art with conventional art. ch me watching the rain pour and catching the droplets, marvelling at the sky changing colours and clouds creating shapes, admiring plays of light and shadows on everything around, gazing at the stars, or collecting stones, shells and colourful feathers. Sometimes, I’ll be doing all those things with a camera in my hand, exploring the finer details in life often left unnoticed. Sometimes, I’ll grab a pencil and paper or feel the paintbrushes and smell the paint before painting. Other times, I’ll head for the Wacom and Computer, or iPad and stylus. And often, I promise, I’ll just sit back and take it all in. My graduation in Commercial Art, followed by post-grad in Surface Design was a natural progression of a passion I’ve had since childhood. I worked in Advertising, Packaging Design, Art Education, and the Graphic Design industry, before deciding to launch Jansart.
