I’ve been concerned about AI impacting my own graphic design practice. I feel fortunate to have been trained in the ‘analogue’ days, and can step aside to embrace a more hands-on output when necessary.

However some kids in schools are experiencing an increasing AI-rich education and which is concerning.

I’m worried for the future and I’m thankful my own kids got to write on paper, read physical books and try to work out maths problems in their workbooks.

Hand-colouring with primary colours—there’s a fine line between the enhancement provided by the colour accents, and going overboard.

I love the graphic nature of this print montage with its 3x blue palette. Too much hand-colouring can detract from this large work on paper. Luckily I have three prints on which to test.
