We are so incredibly proud of our very own Madison! 🇦🇺
Many of you will recognise Madison as one of our wonderful employees here at Douglas Park Takeaway, always working hard with a smile on her face. ❤️
Madison is currently raising funds to represent Australia in Indoor Cricket in South Africa, and we are so excited to support her on this amazing journey! What an incredible opportunity for such a talented and dedicated young lady. 🇦🇺✈️🇿🇦
She has a 100 Square Fundraiser happening, with some great prizes up for grabs, including $150 cash for first prize! Squares are just $5 each.

❤️ SNAGS FOR STEPS THIS SATURDAY - LET'S HELP GET XAVIER BACK ON HIS FEET! ❤️

This Saturday, 10am to 2pm the Lions Club of Wollondilly Shire will be firing up the BBQ for a very special boy in our community — 10-year-old Xavier.

CHARLIE’S LIQUOR BARN TAHMOOR

Xavier is the son of Christie Jones from Douglas Park Takeaway, a wonderful local business owner and a massive supporter of our community.

Xavier underwent major and intensive leg-lengthening surgery this week. This is an enormous procedure for a 10-year-old, and the journey ahead will involve a long and challenging recovery at home.

Now it’s our turn to support Christie and her family. ❤️

Xavier's family must obtain specialised mobility and recovery equipment that isn’t covered by standard medical support, including:

♿ A specialised paediatric wheelchair
🚿 An adjustable shower chair
🦽 A recovery walker
🩼 Paediatric crutches

While some of this equipment can be rented, Xavier faces a lengthy recovery — and sadly, this is expected to be just one of several surgeries he will need.

Join us this Saturday at Charlies Liquor Barn Tahmoor 10am to 2pm and make your purchase of snags, bacon and eggs. Funds raised will go to Xavier's family to help with the cost of recovery.

Christie and her family have always been the kind of people who put their hands up first when someone in our community needs help.

This Saturday, we have the opportunity to put our hands up for them.
