Software Engineer (Node.js + AWS)
We are on the hunt for our next Software Engineer to join our team and help deliver our software solutions. In this role you will use your development experience to build and enhance our products - our projects vary between natively developing in our new cloud-based microservices architecture and others will involve migration.

Due to company growth and client acquisition, we are seeking a Mid-Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about elegant code, design patterns, software architecture, development best practices and up to date with new technologies, frameworks and other languages.
What you would do as a Senior Software Engineer:
As a full-stack software engineer, you will work to iteratively design, test and deliver high-quality code and customer-focused features. Our stack consists of AWS, NodeJS, JS/React, Postgres and Docker. Other features of the role include:
- Refine, design, and deliver product requirements
- Work with a cross-functional team in an agile methodology
- Participate in roadmap, release, and sprint planning
- Write clean, well-organised code while making appropriate trade-offs between performance, robustness, extensibility
- Using DevOps and cloud tools such as Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes etc.
What do we look for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.
- Solid experience as a Software Engineer/Developer
- At least 2 years experience using Node.js
- Cloud experience ideally in AWS
- Strong experience using the latest technologies like Vue.js, React.js, Typescript, GraphQL etc
- Good analytical skills for solution design, software build and problem resolution.
- Understanding code testability, build pipelines, docker and CI/CD systems
