Call out today to fix a power supply on a Sharp/NEC 86 inch Monitor for a commercial client

This one evaporated the thermistor and blew the relay which left charring on the toroidal coil.

Fluke 179 Multimeter came in not powering on. Fixed ! I also gave the housing and leads a good clean up plus polished the display lens.

circuit board repair for a commercial vessel. Replace a dozen avalanche diodes, rebuild some burnt tracks and re-apply the conformal coating. odd jobs keep the mind sharp.

Another custom built PC out the door! My Apprentice Arlo did a great job on this one

Phanteks Evolv Series X2 Case, Intel Core Ultra 7 265K Processor, 360mm water cooler , Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070ti Graphics card, 2 x 2TB NVMe Gen 4 drives. Msi Z890 Motherboard, 32gb of 7400mhz CL32 Ram with a 1250w fully modular power supply.

While stress testing the CPU stays at around 50c!

The boss was onsite yesterday at a local bank to fix some digital signage for Sharp.

The panel itself is quite heavy and the previous installer had stripped some of the 3mm hex screws on the mounting bracket 😅

Did a little bit of cable management and It cleaned up nicely 👌🏻
