The rebel LS is a fantastic solution for LS swapped vehicles. Coming in at a very competitive price point. It would be hard to choose a factory PCM and modified loom option these days once you cost it all up.

Using the wizard they fire up real easy and are close enough that you don’t have to worry about fouling up plugs or washing out a bore. But they are far from tuned…

You can see here I ran the car up with no changes to the wizard generated tune up on the orange graph, and the blue one is after I finished up with it. With peak gains of 40kw or over 50hp to the wheels.

Roaring away in preparation for is the GPAK. Featuring a 18 Degree headed 422ci SBC running a Dart SHP Pro block, Callie’s magnum crank and Callie’s ultra rods.

The Link G4+ thunder ecu tuned up and in charge of the fuel delivery

I fitted a Haltech UC10 dash, with the linkecu broadcasting all the vitals across.

An alternator support bracket was fabricated to help keep the V Belt in check and maintain pulley alignment at all times.

Lucas’ VL was in for a few tweaks after he fitted a new fuel system.

The twin 200 pumps taking care of all the fuel supply.

After replacing the horrible cracked exhaust manifold with a unit the boost control needed some tweaking to get back on target.

The single factory coil was upgraded to a coil to clear out a misfire issue.

The untouched unopened held on and made a strong 300rwkw @ a little over 20psi

Jake’s EL made it back in after a gearbox swap for a tune on the

Originally running on PULP98 through the manual we were seeing 325-330rwkw

With the BTR 4 speed fitted on the same tune up the car was showing 288rwkw on 13psi. So that’s 40 less kw Manual vs Auto

I turned it up to 17-18psi and it matched the RWKW of the manual at 330rwkw still in pulp98

Soo onto the flex tune and with 18psi on it made 363rwkw with no room to move as it’s out of Alternator and the lack of voltage has reduced the fuel pumps potential and the single coils…

I was having quite a few dramas with this belt setup and pulley alignment on the dyno - one part was getting the tension...

I was having quite a few dramas with this belt setup and pulley alignment on the dyno - one part was getting the tensioner aligned with the blower drive.

The lathe was fired up and the correct sized spacers spun up. ⚙️

Laser on and alignment spot on ✅

Precision for results that last.

Can you imagine the sound of a solid roller small block ford throttle blipping on downshifts, still running a 4150 4 barrel throttle body giving you that classic throaty sound. All precisely controlled and actuated by a custom DBW motor setup and dialled in to perfection through the union of the CANTCU and Haltech platforms.

We won’t have to imagine for to much longer… it’s happening now.

Plagued with drivability issues and a lethargic power band this VE came in for a check up…

The majority of the issues were all related to the tuneup, so some time on the dyno fixed that right up.

Fitted with a kit, a frame turbo provides the pressure.

Now feeling like you’d expect a turbo LS too making 490kw to the rollers on PULP98 fuel.

Chris’s stunning was in for a plug and play S3 install and dyno tune.

With the GT2860 turbo wound up to 15psi it produced 153rwkw @ 7500rpm on PULP98 fuel.
