S T O R Y T I M E 💙 I casually rang a guy at the end of last week. We've been on a 18 month waitlist to have a pressed tin ceiling installed. Some of the heritage jobs he works on take 12 months stints. He said "Oh I can be there on Monday" I said "Great, see you then, what time". He said 7am. My brain went "Sheesh", my mouth said "Fantastic! See you then!"

So far this week… he has installed a pressed tin ceiling beautifully. Then ripped out carpet and underlay to expose strangely unusual original floorboards. We are going to embrace the weirdness. Then because it was bucketing down with rain and he'd driven a distance to talk floors, so as not to waste a day, he stripped out the room. John is de-nailing walls and floor and then we are ready for electrical, walls and floor. He is keeping us on our toes.

Long story short. We will be leaving at 1pm today to go and get things so we are ready for 7am next Monday again. Please don't kill us. We truly hope that this doesn't inconvenience anyone.

H A P P Y 💙 E A S T E R 💙 wishing you a safe and lovely Easter. We will be back at 8am on Tuesday 7 April. The start of the year has been a busy busy one. My last pickup for today has just walked out the door. Time to catch our breath.

PS I hope the Easter Bunny escaped Godzilla 😂

H E L L O 💙 L O V E L I E S 💙 We are back! Hope you are all well. John had a fabulous time at the Woodford Festival. I had a whole heap of restful quiet and reading and playing with the cats and poking seeds into dirt. John came back and got busy in the yard finishing another veggie bed and working on another raised garden bed. Plus the endless summer mowing…

We did manage to fit in three wedding Open Days over the last two weekends to start the ball rolling for the year again. So the holiday bent around those a tad.

Time to get cracking into the 2026 work year. Answer all the emails on the list, do the work. Let's get moving!
