🐛 Two bugs. Six crops. One blind spot — until now.

Fruit Spotting Bug and Banana Spotting Bug cause serious damage across Australian avocado, macadamia, lychee and passionfruit crops. Growers have relied on manual scouting for decades — so we built something better.

Working with Macquarie University and backed by Hort Innovation, we developed Australia's first benchmarked AI model to detect these pests, then built a solar-powered smart trap to put it to work in the field. It's already been tested on a real avocado farm in North Queensland.
