On July 30th, Massey University brought together four economics experts, including former Reserve Bank governor Dr Don Brash, to discuss some of NZ's the biggest economic issues. The session utilised Xorro-Q to maximise audience involvement in a lively debate.

Preceding the event, the audience completed a short personal profile using Xorro-Q. Then, during each of four panel topics, the audience was able to submit questions for the panel to consider. Following each topic the audience responded to a short batch of questions; these responses became the subject of lively debate among panelists.

The evening closed with a brief poll of the audience to gauge their views on the event's success.
93% of the audience felt the event provided excellent or above average interest, and 78% of respondents felt use of Xorro-Q played an important or very important role in making the evening interesting for them.

2Touch's ultra-resolution 84" interactive displays are a hit in medical imaging settings, as well as in many planning and meeting room situations.

Last month we forecast the arrival of a new native ultra-resolution 84" 2Touch interactive display. We can now confirm as follows:

Our current stock 2Touch 84" Interactive Display provides a three HDMI (v1.3) inputs supporting full HD. On-board firmware does a remarkable job of interpolating the full HD signal to apply it to the ultra-resolution display. In effect, each input pixel is mapped to 4 display pixels, to achieve significant edge resolution over the original signal input.

There is an option (currently available indent ex-factory) wherein four HDMI (v1.3) inputs are used, with each supporting one quarter of the display. Combined with a suitable graphics card, a native ultra-resolution outcome is achieved in this way. This arrangement is very suitable for digital signage or other ultra-resolution settings. However, there is no support for sound via HDMI on this model.

Available to order from late September will be the first 84” interactive display featuring a single HDMI (v1.4) input. The change to HDMIv1.4 provides support for native 4K video signal inputs through a single HDMI connection. Pricing is not yet to hand; please keep closely in touch!
