*** UPDATE***
RESOLVED

**Service Notice – Hosting Connectivity**

We are aware that some clients may be experiencing intermittent access to websites and hosting services today.

Our hosting network provider, VentraIP, has confirmed an ongoing DDoS attack affecting their Melbourne network. Their team is actively working with upstream providers to apply further mitigation and restore full stability.

A DDoS attack is designed to overwhelm network connectivity, which can cause websites and hosting services to become slow or temporarily unavailable. Based on the information currently available, this appears to be a network availability issue, not a website or data security breach.

Our team is monitoring the situation closely and will continue to check affected services as mitigations are applied.

No action is required from clients at this stage. We understand this is frustrating, especially when your website is important to your business, and we appreciate your patience while the upstream network teams work to stabilise services.

We will provide further updates as soon as meaningful information becomes available.

Ever notice your internet feels better lately? 🤔
Zoom calls don’t freeze as much, Netflix starts faster, and “Can you hear me?” is said less often.

That’s not a coincidence.

Behind the scenes, a lot more internet traffic in WA is now staying local, instead of bouncing interstate or overseas. Shorter distance = lower latency = smoother experience.

What this means in real life:
✔ Fewer dropouts during Teams & Zoom meetings
✔ Faster page loads and streaming
✔ Less buffering when everyone’s online at once
✔ Your Wi-Fi actually keeping up with modern life

Speed still matters — but how your connection is routed and how your network is set up at home matters just as much. Two houses on the same NBN plan can have totally different experiences.

We see this every week when helping people fix:
• Choppy video calls
• “Fast plan, slow internet” frustrations
• Wi-Fi that collapses under pressure

The good news? As the network improves, the right setup really shines.

💬 Curious — what’s your biggest internet frustration right now?
Drop a comment below. We’re listening.
