Thursday night from 6pm:
Monica McInerney will be at Clare Town Hall discussing her latest book ‘When Sullivan met Lola’. This is a free event, but registration is required. Bookings can be made by calling us on 88423817.

Friday morning - Clare Library Walking Group
Join us from 9.30 as we walk around Clare, followed by a tea or coffee back at the library - suitable for all ages and abilities.

From 20th October 2026, the maximum number of holds that can be placed on physical items will change from 30 to 15. 📚✨

What will this mean for me?
- If you currently have fewer than 15 holds, no action is required.
- If you currently have more than 15 holds, your existing holds will remain in place. You will not be able to place additional holds until your total number of holds falls below 15.
- Suspended holds count towards the hold limit.

This is a State Library network wide change.
