Brisbane’s creative energy was on full display last night.
Pistol was proud to attend the ICC Immersion Australia at Gameloft Brisbane, connecting with a delegation of French creative industry leaders to explore opportunities and strengthen ties between Australia and France across the creative, cultural, events, gaming, property, and innovation sectors.
A highlight of the evening was a fascinating discussion on the future of Brisbane’s creative economy as we look towards the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Amanda Jackes (Woodford Folk Festival), Barton Green (Creative Brisbane Collab), Manea Castet (Gameloft Brisbane) and Ellen Kavanagh (QPAC) shared valuable insights into the opportunities ahead for our city.
It was also inspiring to see firsthand the world-leading work being produced by the team at Gameloft Brisbane, showcasing the strength of Queensland’s thriving games industry.
A big thank you to the French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FACCI) for the invitation, and to Guillaume Dabouis from the French Embassy in Australia and Assistant Minister Hermann Vorster MP for their contributions. Congratulations to everyone involved in making the event happen.
