We're at NEXTDC S2 this weekend commissioning a new Corporate and Internet Radio machine, that will also take over Email Filtering workloads.

This finalises our move to Intel Xeon Gold as well as RAID1 NVMe-backed hypervisor storage across all-of-business. From there, this also gives TNC access to locally-hosted GPU capacity for internal AI/LLM development!

Managed VPS for our clients are *not* impacted by these works, as those machines were overhauled in late 2024 already to the Dell C6620 platform.

Exciting news! IPv6 has beendeployed. 🎉

This has taken a lot of behind-the-scenes work, including having cPanel fix their implementation of the protocol so it works nicely.

That final fix is released, so we've been able to give clients and their end clients IPv6 AAAA records that are unique per-site.

📨 Stats about our optional Email Filters in November 2023:

100,000+ emails processed in the month.
3.7 second average processing time.
>60% of inbound mail was SPAM!
0 identified outbreaks of viruses.

These systems are only used by a small number of domains within our systems, as many don't leverage it, or use 365, etc.

With the rise of AI, we're seeing an increase in spam rates. Be vigilant into 2024, and educate your end clients all the same.

For us, it's about remaining true-to-purpose, going above and beyond for clients, and maintaining raw honesty whether it's good news or bad. We're not a fan of FIFO Clients, ones who aren't in it for the long haul - we're about strong partnerships. Doing the right thing well and honestly is more than half of it.

All going well, kookaburras will live for around 20 years and will have the same mate for life. Once you find someone, some business, anything that sings your song - add them to your flock if it's a fit. Good people make for good business. 🇦🇺

Optical Fibre is as quick as you'll get with your Hosting Servers, which is why we take it all the way from "street-to-server", meaning from the broader internet right into our hypervisors is 100% fibre-fed. This removes the copper "weakest link" and keeps latency/ping times low 24/7/365.

Our routers are fed by redundant fibre feeds which take diverse cable pathways out of our primary data centre (NEXTDC S2 - Tier IV) in case of issues underground. From there we pass redundant feeds down to our stacked switching layer, and onto the hypervisors from there. 🌐

To lovers of NGINX and all things high-performance-hosting, the TNC Toolbox for WP has been approved onto WP.org! 🎉

Initially this gives you the ability to purge the EA-NGINX User Cache, as well as disable/enable NGINX Caching for each user, all from the comfort of each WordPress installation. This makes it easier for your business, but it's more so for your end clients.

There's also a deployment script available on GitHub to assist with bulk deployments server-wide to save your valuable time.
