What started off as a hobby in 2013, working from my kitchen bench, I had only hoped I would be able to have some fun playing with gadgets and learning how they worked. As my interest grew and skills developed, I was able to make smal

l profits, enough to buy specialised tools and some spare parts. Learning on the job was frustrating at times and I probably broke more than I repaired. But perseverance saw me through those times until in Feb 2018, I launched a page called iPhone Repairs Airlie Beach. Slowly building a customer base, I was determined to make it work. With each repair bringing me closer to my end goal - being my own boss. And in Dec 2019, I made the big leap of quitting my full-time employment, to working for myself. But that was only possible due to Mick's Computers (aka Managed Computer Solutions), who allowed me to run my business within theirs. Having a shopfront changed everything for me and business soared. In 2023, the business went through a rebranding process, to encapsulate the wholeness of the business. To incorporate the retail side as well as the repairs and all the services in-between, that is DevicePro - Phone & Tablet Specialist. It wouldn't at all be possible without you guys - the customers - and I've met some wonderful ones along the way. Every time you get a repair or buy a product, every time you recommend me to your friends and every time you write a review - helps me tremendously and I am forever grateful.

👀 CONTROL WHO CAN SEE YOUR STUFF
Your posts, photos, stories, birthday, contact details and other profile information. You might be sharing more publicly than you realise.

🔐 MAKE YOUR ACCOUNT HARDER TO BREAK INTO
Check your password security, login activity and 2-factor authentication.

📱 SEE WHAT YOU'VE GIVEN FACEBOOK ACCESS TO
Check connected apps and websites and remove anything you no longer use or don't recognise.

📱 HOW TO FIND FACEBOOK'S PRIVACY CHECKUP
1) Open the Facebook app.
2) Open the Menu or tap your profile picture.
3) Go to Settings & privacy → Settings.
4) Look for Privacy Checkup.
5) Work through each section and review the options that apply to you.

👉 You don't have to change everything — just take a few minutes to understand what's currently switched on and decide what you're comfortable with.
👉 It doesn't take long — and it's one of those jobs that's much easier to do now than after something goes wrong.
