I'm happy to announce that The Makers' Hub has relocated and is now running from the Graphic Design Studio at the University of Canberra, along with Mobile Makers and the Cross Cultural Design Lab.

If you want to check out what's happening, come along to the UC OPEN DAY this Saturday 27th August between 9am and 4pm. We're located on Level C in Building 7.

I'm planning out a workshop schedule over the next few weeks for the rest of the year, so stay tuned for more news on that!

All the stuff that you can come and buy tomorrow at my farewell sale! Some furniture, craft supplies, office supplies, market display stuff, props, glass jars and votives, heaps of packaging (boxes, bags etc), craft kits and free books! Also a whole table of free stuff (you can see in the video with the big wooden butterfly on the table, EVERYTHING on that table is completely free!).

Come get it from 11am tomorrow (Sat 18th), Wiseman St Macquarie.

This morning I've been sorting and packing up more of the Hub, and have a few more items to note that could be of interest to people, all available at the FAREWELL SALE on Saturday 18th June, 10am-4pm, 70/27 Wiseman St Macquarie =)

• Terrarium supplies (sand, rocks, charcoal, pebbles and more) FREE if taken all together
• Light up neon notice board with chalk pens
• Ikea stools
• Packaging boxes and bags
• Packaging fillers - shredded paper, foam etc
• Acrylic brochure displays
• Pantone style (not branded) folding chairs in teal
• A6 size plastic sealable envelopes (brand new)
• Mini E6000 glues (about 80)
• Loads of seed beads and other beaded jewellery supplies
• Fabric scraps
• More craft kits
• Mugs and glasses, some plates and other cups and saucers
• 3D Printer!
• Plastic folders

And a bunch of other stuff I can't remember now I've left the space for the day =P

I'm going to try and have my Paypal Here reader thingy up and running for Eftpos and Credit payments, but probably a good idea to bring cash just in case ;)

Who is keen for our MASSIVE FAREWELL SALE??!

I'll be clearing out LOADS of craft supplies, craft kits, market stall display items (furniture and props), tins, jars, bowls, studio decor and more!

I'm looking at opening on Saturday the 18th June from 11am-4pm for bargains GALORE.

I have big news, and it may be sad news for some, but for me it's actually exciting!

After 2 years (and a couple of months) of quite an adventure, I have decided to end the lease on my space in Macquarie, and The Makers' Hub will be leaving this area at the end of June. I've had an awesome time running the space and taking the journey through it's different iterations, but the time has come to focus on the other side of my business (helping women build their creative passion into profitable businesses with Makers' Collective) and spend more quality time with my family.

I thank you all so much for your support over the last few years, I couldn't have done it without you all and I very much appreciate every single workshop, party and venue hire booking. I love my space and I hope you did too! =)

I'm taking bookings up until the first week of June, and then will be packing up, having a BIG farewell sale (crafty goodness galore, make sure you get along!!) and also a fun FAREWELL PARTY at the end of June so stay tuned for more info on those events.

Of course my landlord for the space will now be looking for new tenants, and can I just say, whoever nabs this lease is one LUCKY DUCK. Besides the space being over-the-top gorgeous (and fitted out with a private bathroom and a neato kitchenette installed by yours truly!), the landlord is A-MAZ-ING. So if you or anyone you know is interested in taking up a commercial lease in the next few months, drop me a line and I'll put you in touch =)
