Our local food pantries provide vital support to families every day. This year, 100'$ for Thousands is collaborating with Hands Across Canberra to make an even greater impact. With your help, our goal is to raise $100,000 to provide 1,000 local families in need each with a $100 grocery voucher for the festive season.
All 10 of our participating pantries are seeing more demand than ever, many are already stretched to their limits. With your support, we can make sure families can enjoy good food and feel connected this festive season.

Canberra City Care is one of the food pantries that this supports. If you would like to donate please go to the 100'$ for thousands website and donate under HandUp food care pantry.

For Deloitte’s Impact Day 2026, the Deloitte Canberra ServiceNow team volunteered with us at Canberra City Care. We really enjoyed having Andrew and Cherie with us for the day, we had great conversations about the community and got to know both of them. They were able to help us in our sorting area as well as helping us in our orchard.
We appreciate local businesses and individuals taking time out of their day to help and learn about their local community.
Thankyou for your help!!

Leading up to the Christmas rush, we are taking a break from receiving donations, so that our wonderful volunteers can get through what we already have.
We will resume accepting donations from the 28th of November.
