Technology seems to be changing faster than ever in 2026.
Whether you're a home user or running a business, you've probably noticed the growing use of AI tools, more online services, and unfortunately, more scams and cyber security threats.
Some of the most common issues I'm seeing include:
๐น Scam emails and text messages becoming much more convincing.
๐น People receiving phone calls from scammers pretending to be banks, government departments, Microsoft, or other trusted organisations.
๐น Old computers struggling to keep up with newer software and security requirements.
๐น Important files not being backed up properly.
๐น Uncertainty around AI tools such as ChatGPT, Co-pilot, and Gemini, including what information should and shouldn't be shared with them.
The good news is that you don't need to be a technology expert to stay protected. A few simple steps such as keeping software updated, using strong passwords, enabling multi-factor authentication, and maintaining good backups can significantly reduce your risk.
I'm interested to hear from everyone...
๐ฌ What's your biggest technology concern at the moment?
Is it security?
AI?
Slow computers?
Scam calls?
Something else?
Whether you're a home user or a business owner, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
