PHP 8.3 is a major update of the PHP language. It contains many new features, such as explicit typing of class constants, deep-cloning of readonly properties and additions to the randomness functionality. As always it also includes performance improvements, bug fixes, and general cleanup.

AI-powered features, Layers, and Transparency!

Layers: Layers allow you to create complex images by layering different elements on top of each other. This is a major upgrade for Paint, as it previously did not support layers.

Transparency: Transparency allows you to make parts of an image transparent, so that you can see the layers below it. This is useful for creating effects like watermarks and shadows.

Cocreator: Cocreator is a new feature that allows you to collaborate on artwork with other people. Cocreator uses AI to suggest new ideas and actions, and it can also help you to resolve conflicts between collaborators.

Background removal: Background removal is a new feature that allows you to automatically remove the background from an image. This is useful for creating images with transparent backgrounds, or for isolating objects from their surroundings.
