✨Fresh menu design for The Big Chill Restaurant – Clifton Beach 🏖️
🍝🍕🦐🇮🇹🌴☀️🍹

After celebrating both my baby shower and 30th at the “small” Chill Cafe in Clifton Beach, I was lucky enough to be asked to design the new menu for restaurant just around the corner. 🌺

For those who don’t know, The Big Chill was previously located in Palm Cove under the name Chill – Portofino. After being closed for over two years, the same owners have now reopened in Clifton Beach. 🏖️

They’re known for their authentic Italian dishes — think classic pizzas and pasta, alongside appetisers and fresh seafood. I illustrated some of their popular dishes and cocktails throughout the menu, and I’m so happy with how it all came together. 🍝🍕🍹

Head down to Clifton Beach to check it out — perfect for late afternoon drinks and nibbles or a cosy dinner. The ultimate spot for delicious Italian 🇮🇹👌🏼

Thank you Manuela for trusting me with this project for you and Tony. Can’t wait to visit again when I’m not in the mood to cook and craving a mojito 🍸😌

I can have a baby in peace now, knowing that my market baby is all clean and fresh for her break too 🥹🥰

🌈 FUN KINDER LOGO DESIGN🌴
A few months ago, I designed this fun, playful logo for ‘Cubby House Early Learning Centre’ - Mission Beach 🏠🐠✨

Incorporating the local cassowary—an iconic symbol of the area—alongside palm trees, fish, a starfish, sunshine and a vibrant rainbow to bring in that tropical, feel-good energy 🌈

I love how this came together as a clean, cohesive brand while still keeping that sense of fun and playfulness that an early learning centre should have 💛

Welcome to a little series where I’ll be decorating and creating for our baby’s nursery 🌈
My “nesting” phase is in full swing as we wait for our little one’s arrival…

I’ve cleaned and organised about 90% of the house, so now it’s onto the fun part ✨

I’ll be sharing a mix of small projects to make our baby’s space bright, colourful, and cosy.
We don’t know if baby is a boy or girl, so everything is gender neutral and full of all the colours of the rainbow 🌈

This first project is an upcycled Kmart lamp I’ve had lying around 🤍
I added some half-circle wooden dots from a previous project to the base, then gave it a coat of yellow paint.
For the shade, I found some fun pastel fabric and simply glued it on.

A once boring lamp turned into a funky little piece that’ll sit beside my nursing chair for those many night wake-ups 🌙✨

Let’s see how many of these I can finish before baby makes their arrival very soon 🥰

Thank you for all your lovely birthday wishes yesterday.
Can say that this birthday was the steadiest I’ve ever had…. But hitting 37 weeks may have something to do with it 😅
Thank you baby for holding off until after your mummas birthday, much appreciated 🥰

Easter weekend looks a little different this year, with no market for us today. Instead… resting on the couch with plenty of choccy eggs and hot cross buns. ☕️🌸

Was so nice to head away and catch up with family and friends last week — heart = full
but the toes were frozen ❄️
