We gave ChatGPT and our actual designer the exact same brief: a business card for a local arborist.

ChatGPT's version has the right idea but the wrong ex*****on, the card's not sized to actual print spec, the hierarchy makes it hard to know where to look first, and the logo (which is the most important part) gets lost instead of standing out. It also just feels... generic, like it could belong to any tree service anywhere.

Our designer's version fixes all of it, right size, clear hierarchy, a logo that actually reads at a glance.

It's not the follower count. It's not even the engagement rate.

It's whether their audience already trusts the kind of thing you're selling. A beauty brand doesn't need the biggest creator, it needs the one whose followers are already buying beauty products. A tradie doesn't need reach, they need someone their local community actually listens to.

Get that fit right and the results follow. One UGC campaign we launched recently, landed landing page views at $0.22 each, well under the $1.50–$4.00 industry benchmark.

Another paired a giveaway with the right creator and drove the strongest engagement month the business had seen all year, with profile visits up +102.8%.

Not one of those numbers came from a big following. Every one of them came from picking the right person for the job.
