If you slept in and missed the Mars Perseverance Rover landing this morning, pop down and say Hi at the Studio this afternoon!
At 12.30pm we are going to get the recording of the NASA livestream up on the big projector and the actual landing will be shown just after 2pm πŸš€
NASA also had 360Β° coverage so will get it going on a couple of VR headsets for who ever is interested!
There will be tables and chairs set up if you'd like to work while you watch!

We saw this quote from Erin Teague and thought it was fitting, and then we looked into Erin some more and WOAH. What a woman!

Software engineer, Product Manager at Twitter, Director of Fantasy Sports for Yahoo, Head of YouTube AR/VR and now heading up YouTube Sports? You could say we're mildly fan-girling.

Take our advice and watch some of her interviews this Monday to start your week with a bang.

Today's a Throwback Thursday to none other than Ida Hyde, an american physiologist known for developing a micro-electrode powerful enough to stimulate tissue chemically or electronically, yet small enough to inject or remove tissue from a cell.

Not only is her work incredibly impressive, but she repeatedly encountered barriers to her education and career due to her gender, and pressed for more equal access and treatment of women in academia throughout her life (and this is all the way back in 1938!). She wrote about her difficulties in a revealing account in the AAUW Journal entitled "Before Women Were Human Beings".
