Hi everyone!

Due to being offered full-time employment, I have had to make the difficult decision to close Nerds on Wheels. It has been a fantastic journey, and I greatly appreciate getting the chance to meet and help you all.

Thank you to everyone who welcomed me into their homes and businesses - you gave me the opportunity to be my own boss and run my own business and it's an experience I will always treasure.

Please note that we will no longer be taking appointments after 10/02/2023. Our number will still be active though it will not be actively monitored during this busy transition period. Vouchers issued in partnership with the Bunbury Bowling Club will still be honoured – please get in touch and we’ll sort you out.

Christmas is right around the corner, only 15 sleeps to go! We’ll be taking a small break for Christmas and New Years, but we will have some appointments available in between to help with setting up and troubleshooting any new gadgets you’ve received! We want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I met Robert the RoboVac last week when I was asked to help set him up and connect him to the wifi! After getting him sorted, he went off and started mapping out and cleaning his new home. Congratulations and keep up the good work, Robert!

We will be available for appointments from 9am to 8.30pm, so whenever you need help with your home or business IT, the Nerds on Wheels will be ready.

Scam Alert!

You may have received a text message full of spelling errors recently that looks something like this.

Please don't click this link! It could infect your mobile phone with the "Flubot" malware which, along with trying to send itself to your contacts and many other people, will also attempt to steal your personal information, such as bank details.

If you or anyone you know have been a victim of this scam, you can report it to the Australian Cyber Security Centre here: https://www.cyber.gov.au/acsc/report

Paid anti-malware apps from companies like Bitdefender, ESET, Kaspersky and others should be able to detect and remove this malware if you are worried it may have infected your phone.
