Had such a wonderful 3 days in Kyoto showing our game at . We were in the Screen Australia booth with 7 other games made by some of the most wonderful humans/ amazing Aussie developers 🇦🇺

Next week Caitlin will be heading to Bitsummit in Kyoto as part of the Screen Australia Future Leaders Delegation. You'll be able to play our game "Potions, Please!" at the Screen Australia booth ✨

We've been working really hard on this game and making sure all our silly jokes and references land well with Japanese players. I'm super excited to show it off to players, media and hopefully chat to some potential publishers while I'm there.

Potions, Please! is an alchemy shop sim with a hint of RPG, a dash of naughty llamas and a generous helping of morbid humour thanks to your late Aunty, who is patiently awaiting her resurrection from six feet under. It's single player and co-op, coming to Steam, Switch and PlayStation.

Someone asked if Potions, Please! will run good on Steamdeck. After a stress test on the Steam Deck of the PC build on high quality was already running around 30 fps before we'd done an optimisation pass on it...We can confidently say yeah, it will 😎 We'll also be releasing on switch and making sure everything looks b-e-autiful even on a handheld console ❤️

WE ARE GOING TO JAPAN!! 🇯🇵

We've been working with Amanda and Aki who live in Japan to help make sure our demo isn't just translated but also that all the weird humour, jokes, puns and Easter eggs will still resonate with our Japanese players!

The Llamas have arrived 🥹❤️ how can they be the baddies when they are so cuteeeeeee.

Getting around Fogbottom is not so bad by foot but if you want to venture into the greater shire, it's suggested you'll need a faster mode of transport. Fogbottom Rent-a-Llama is your one stop shop for some fast feet. All it requires is a $500 deposit. But you will lose your deposit if you lose your llama. Llamas are dramatic and have a tendency to run away if they get the chance.

We made the decision to go back to the cartoony art style we showed at PAX! We know more of you vibed with it and honestly, we loved it too! Not only have we been doing that but we've also finished building a bunch of new features! Different customer types, the events happening in the world and not just on the notice board, better potion mixing and some ridiculous but charming new characters we think you'll love.

BIG NEWS!!!! We just dropped our world premier, the Potions, Please! game announcement trailer as part of the FYNG Showcase!!! It reveals our new art style (not final but closer to how we will release), never before seen gameplay footage, LLAMAS, and ingredients! I mean, customers!! IYKYK 😉
