What a beautiful looking turntable this 1982 Luxman PD-284 is. The brushed aluminium chassis mounted in a timber plinth, the huge platter, long low mass tone arm, and clean design lines. It’s no slouch performance wise either, based around quartz controlled brushless direct drive technology and fitted with pitch control and an LED driven strobe window for exact speed setting. Wow and flutter performance is outstanding. It's fitted with an Ortofon OM-10 elliptical cartridge/stylus. Fully restored with warranty, and available now on the Reclaimed Audio website...

L&G (absolutely nothing to do with the LG brand we know today no matter what AI tries to tell you!) was a short lived chic euro brand created by Japan's Luxman in the 70s. With Luxman design and build quality and looks that were designed to take on high flying Euro brands of the era like NordMende, B&O, and Braun the products were fabulous, and are very much sought after today. Like this fully restored with warranty L-2600E that delivers 2x45W into 4ohms. Available now on the Reclaimed Audio website...

When the DJ stores sold this amplifier model they called it "250 watts per channel". We call it 25 watts per channel. We'll leave it up to you to work out who's being more truthful! Wattage disparity aside. it would make for a fab amplifier for your home party area or home DJ use, and as well as having normal line level inputs it has an inbuilt MP3 media player that will read from SD, MMC, or a USB stick, so as a party amp it's set and forget. And we reckon it's pretty good value for just $119 on the Reclaimed Audio website!
