Tis the season to sing your heart out to Christmas carols and pop classics.
Creating the design and illustration for Carols by the Lake was a lot of fun, if slightly torturous. Spending days humming along to daggy favourites like Mariah Carey and Wham! while developing concepts meant those ear-worms were lodged in my brain for far longer than necessary.
Set by Coburg Lake, the illustrations capture the local setting, native wildlife, and even the big bearded man himself.
I can only hope the possums and bin chickens were humming along too.
