Our statement on COVID-19

Martin Luther King Jr. once said;
“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.”

Currently our world faces perhaps its biggest challenge in history. What’s happening around us with COVID-19 seems enormous, despairing, increasingly insurmountable and dare we say it, hopeless. But like MLK said in his 1963 book, Strength To Love, One’s ultimate measure comes in times of challenge and controversy. From the moment this outbreak started, we have seen the heroes amongst us, our healthcare workers, take on the challenge of the spread of COVID-19 through our society and work tirelessly to protect us. These people don’t know you but they care for you, they don’t ask for anything from you but they give to you and while they’re tired right now, they still fight for you!

We have always been vocal about protecting healthcare workers, in fact we created our product because we were sick of seeing healthcare workers abused, mistreated and threatened in their places of work. So please, please, please, obey what our healthcare workers are telling us! We can win this fight but it takes everyone to play their part.

- Stay home - this virus can only travel if you do.

- Regularly wash your hands with soap or sanitiser

- Don’t gather in groups

- Stay at least 1.5 metres or 5 feet apart

- Only go out for the essentials

- Call your doctor if you have flu-like symptoms

Together we can beat COVID-19 but please be kind and respectful to all essential workers, especially the healthcare workers on the frontline!
