There is a fibre optic cable between Ipswich and Fernvale that has been causing issues on the network. Field techs investigated the problem today and eventually found damaged cables in the ground.

After trying to patch us into another cable they found that one was damaged too. They plan to return tomorrow with an excavator to repair the damage. Until then we are running on a backup link which gives very limited access.

Sorry for the delay getting this repaired. We are currently in the hands of the fibre provider. I will keep everyone updated as best as possible.

It seems the storm damaged something at the tower. I'll head up as soon as I can but I'll have to wait for the rain to go

The router at Glamorgan Vale seems to have started playing up. I just rebooted it and am monitoring the network

Tonight I will be moving to a new data centre cabinet and internet link. The change will happen around 11pm and I am planning on a short outage while the network is rerouted but it may also cause a few unforeseen glitches while I get everything back online so please bare with me.

Seems there are still a few bugs in the system after replacing the lightning damaged routers and radios. I've been working on it this morning and made a few more adjustments. As always, thanks for the feedback and send me a text if you are still seeing any issues

The tower at Glamorgan Vale seems to be down. It may be a power issue. I am investigating.

The storm has taken out or backup link in Glamorgan Vale. I'm working on it. As the rain passes through the main link will go up and down a bit. Sorry for the inconvenience.
