Open role for an apprenticeship in the telecommunications field.
About the role
Assisting in operation of a bucket truck to perform new network installations and maintenance for the NBN network. We cover a wide area of work scope to keep the role interesting and continuous, from Fibre, electrical, copper and HFC.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Great communication.
Enjoy working at heights and the outdoors.

Open role for an apprenticeship in the telecommunications field.

About the role

Assisting in operation of a bucket truck to perform new network installations and maintenance for the NBN network. We cover a wide area of work scope to keep the role interesting and continuous, from Fibre, electrical, copper and HFC.

Key responsibilities are:

Working at heights and setting up the EWP truck
Participate in a small workgroup engaged in jointing/splicing activities
Hauling and running cables
Mounting risers and aerial attachments.
Undertake fault location and restoration using OTDR testing and HFC equipment .
Knowledge and understanding of construction Drawings

Essential

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Great communication.
Enjoy working at heights and the outdoors.
Current Australian Driver's License
