Amiga weekend.

A500+ for a new Agnus socket after some pretty heavy battery leakage damage

A600 for a service and recap + remove RF socket to allow for a neat HDMI out socket in its place

Fingers crossed for a happy customer.

First repair completed

Customers play station 3 with RLOD and switching off after 4 seconds of power up.

Faults found
1- cmos battery flat and corroded
2- thermal paste nearly gone
3- fan clogged up
4- graphics processor faulty solder connection

Replaced the battery
Replaced the thermal paste
Cleaned the unit thoroughly
Reflowed the solder across the entire board
Tested the unit for 1.5 hours

Very pleased with this one as the old school playstations are getting rare as most of them failed with these issues

Hopefully a very happy customer when he receives his playstation back 😁
