We have had some business changes here at GeoCue Australia and we wanted to explain this to you to avoid any confusion. Rest assured that it is business as usual here.

In the future we will be operating under the Geo Drone Solutions business name. GeoCue Australia Pty Ltd still exists as the business entity and abn, Geo Drone Solutions is a trading as company.

We will continue to be the regional distributor for GeoCue Group hardware and software, these systems will remain to be very important in terms of our offering and line up.

These changes have been finalised through open and positive discussion between GeoCue Australia and GeoCue Group. Our relationship remains very strong and positive.

At GeoCue Australia we have offered drone LiDAR rental options for almost 5 years now.
This has proven to be very popular and in many cases has lead to various partners gaining long term work in this space.

Now, to further enhance our range and your options, we have added a True View 540 to the fleet. This is an extremely capable system and like the rest of our rental fleet, will work with your Matrice 300/350 RTK. We can also rent you a drone if necessary.

When renting a True View LiDAR system from us, our LP360 Drone software is also provided to you for post processing. We can also perform this post processing for you if this would suit you better.

*Also available for rental is our TrueView 535/ Mobile Mapping combination. This is very powerful and overcomes many challenges which can occur with drone-based operations such as no fly areas or scale.

Supercharge your Zenmuse L1 and L2 data!

For some years now our LP360 Drone software has been able to accept the initial L1/L2 data, exported from DJI Terra, and complete the post processing.

Now, via our LP360 Cloud, you can dispense with Terra completely and perform all of your post processing on LP360 Cloud. This also includes batch processing and the many other great LP360 features that make is so popular.

Gorillas in the mist!?

No, not quite!

We were recently engaged to assist one of our partners, Byron Bay Surveying to infill their conventional tripod based laser scanning with hand held Slam.

As you can see, the conditions for this site is very overgrown, moving through this space with multiple tripod based set ups would be verging on impossible. This work certainly borders on beyond the capabilities of even a Slam based system.

Our GeoCue TrueView Go system did however perform beyond expectations. The initial data was collected RTK via CORS and was further improved via PPK and via the introduction of ground control points.

While Terra can handle initial processing, LP360 Drone’s DJI L1/L2 Cloud Batch Processing Add-On allows you to process raw L2 LiDAR data directly—consolidating your workflow into one platform. This integration simplifies the process into five steps:

1. Project Creation & Data Import: Start by importing your raw flight data into LP360.
2. Trajectory & LiDAR Processing: Refine trajectory data via RTK or PPK methods, ensuring highly accurate positional data.
3. Flight Line Creation: Automatically generate flight lines to organize and structure your data.
4. Post-Processing & Strip Alignment: Filter, smooth, and align your strips to remove any slight offsets between flight lines.
5. Final Deliverables: Classify ground, remove outliers, and create DTMs, contours, or volumetric calculations. Export these results in industry-standard formats.
By cutting out extra steps and reducing the number of software solutions you have to juggle, LP360 enhances productivity and streamlines the entire workflow from raw LiDAR data to final, actionable products....
