🚀 Triton launches OPTICS at Foodtech Packtech 2025!

Last week at Foodtech Packtech in Auckland (2–4 Sep) we had our biggest turnout ever, with many of our New Zealand red meat customers joining us to see the launch of OPTICS – Triton’s new AI machine vision platform.

https://youtu.be/dm8iXLhGxTw

The response was fantastic, with conversations focused on how OPTICS can:
âś… Save significant labour
âś… Improve accuracy & compliance
âś… Boost productivity across plant operations

🔍 Live demonstrations included:

Livestock Counting – Automated counting for lamb and sheep

Cut & Piece Identification – Integrated with Triton’s cut weigh-label station

Pose Detection – Recognising operator movements to trigger automated functions in Triton FUSION

We also showcased some of our supporting solutions:

Thermal Inkjet Applicator – Delivering major label savings for PreID customers

Evo Applicator – Our industry-leading automatic weigh-label system

BC50 Semi-Automatic Linerless Applicator – Applying clear, full-wrap linerless labels in a single pass, enhancing product presentation while cutting packaging waste

đź’ˇ The interest and engagement we received at Foodtech Packtech confirmed the huge potential OPTICS has to transform processing operations across New Zealand, Australia and beyond.

We’re excited to continue conversations with those who visited us – and with anyone wanting to learn how Triton is shaping the future of food processing through innovation.
