We now have the Snapmaker × Phaetus Liber High Flow Hotend in stock for the U1.

Developed specifically for the Snapmaker U1, this drop-in hotend delivers up to 55 mm³/s of volumetric flow an increase of up to 87% over the standard U1 hotend. It pairs a split-flow melt channel with a 0.4mm DLC-coated hardened steel nozzle and a seamless titanium alloy heat break for reliable extrusion at higher flow rates.

Best suited to large parts, thick walls, and long continuous extrusion paths. Note that CF/GF-reinforced filaments, Wood PLA, and TPU are not recommended.

A quick reminder before your next print: dry filament is happy filament, a old spool of PETG Transparent vs Re-Dired PETG Transparent (Same Print File).

Moisture doesn't just affect print quality, it can make PLA brittle and prone to snapping. Additives like carbon fibre, glow-in-the-dark pigments, or glass fibre make filament even more susceptible to poor print quality.

And that vacuum seal? It's not a guarantee of dryness.

The good news is brittleness is preventable. A dedicated filament dryer is a worthwhile investment, and storing spools in sealed containers out of direct sunlight with fresh desiccant makes a real difference, or with any DREMC Filament we included mylar bag which will keep both moisture and UV from affecting the materials.
