The spring equinox moon rising over the coast last week. School holidays sometimes look like this, and sometimes look like me working at the dining table, trying to catch up while printing out endless colouring ins.
⁠
But I actually love the slower pace of the school holidays.⁠ While plenty of work still happens, I always aim to schedule bigger projects for term time, which gives the year a built-in flow that forces me to recharge before diving into the next round of projects.

I'll be back to full time next week and Q4 is already looking pretty busy!

New signage for Hera Wellness Studio.

We love seeing the brands we work with grow and change. When Hera moved to a new Paddington studio, we designed signage to suit the new space, and popped over to capture some shots of it in situ.

For the past few years, we've worked with You Matter to help bring their High Tea For Hope event to life through collateral and event design.⁠

You Matter do meaningful work providing housing and support for women and children leaving domestic violence, so we were happy to be able to support them as part of our Branding For Good initiative, which provides discounted or pro bono branding to non-profits and social enterprises.⁠

Purpose led branding isn't just something we say we do. It's something we've genuinely built into our business.

FairSource Botanicals sources regeneratively harvested frankincense and myrrh from Oman and Somalia, bringing transparency to a supply chain that has traditionally been difficult to trace.⁠

It's genuinely impactful work, buthe challenge was how to communicate it in a way that felt both credible and contemporary in a category where brands often have all the personality of a spreadsheet.⁠

We created a brand identity that sits between those two extremes. Built around the idea of connecting data to place, the system layers grids and graphics over textures and imagery. The result is a brand that helps FairSource Botanicals to communicate their impact, and tells the story of the place behind the product.⁠

Introducing FairSource Botanicals.

FairSource Botanicals is a B2B botanicals company sourcing traceable, regeneratively harvested ingredients such as frankincense and myrrh from Oman and Somalia.

They came to us with a strong vision and an existing brand that wasn’t communicating the true impact of the company. So we created an identity that balances credibility with a real sense of place. The final brand brings together science and storytelling, pairing clean, data-led layouts with warm palettes and textures inspired by the landscape.

This is exactly the kind of work we love most. Partnering with purpose-led businesses doing meaningful work to create brands that reflect the depth and impact of what they do.
