Want to show up in Google for suburbs your clinic isn't even in?
Here's the exact strategy we use to help our clients own their whole local market 👇
Most clinics just have a contact page with their address. That isn't enough. Or if it does rank, it's only for their own suburb but none of the ones around it.
To show up in MULTIPLE suburbs, follow and repeat this process:
1️⃣ Build a dedicated page for each nearby suburb you want patients from.
Make it a genuinely helpful, informative page about your business.
What you do, the conditions you treat, the techniques you use, what to expect at a first appointment, health fund info, etc.
It should make them WANT to visit (even travel past a closer clinic to get to you), so make it impressive and worth the trip.
2️⃣ Create and embed a custom map.
Build a custom map in Google Maps (free to do) showing the driving route from that suburb to your clinic, then embed it on the page.
That tells Google your clinic is genuinely relevant to the area, and it kills the "are they too far?" objection before the patient even asks.
3️⃣ Add local references.
Sprinkle in local touches: what you're near, the main road to take, etc. In the copy, say something like "just 8 minutes from [suburb], at [street address]."
4️⃣ Repeat for every suburb.
One page per suburb. 10 target suburbs = 10 pages.
5️⃣ BONUS: Create an "Areas We Service" page.
Link it out to every suburb page, and link each suburb page back to it.
That internal linking ties the whole thing together and tells Google you're the clinic for the whole region, not just one postcode.
Do this properly and you stop competing for one suburb. You start showing up across your entire catchment.
