They never got the kudos they deserved, despite some good airplay back in the day, but Died Pretty were an exceptional Aussie band and part of the soundtrack to my late teens and early adulthood. So to find that there had been a vinyl reissue was a "no brainer" decision. 2 days later it's at my door, now to see if the remaster has been kind🙂

"Made in Japan" once was considered a bit of a put down. Not these days!

We are pleased to represent SoulNote in South Australia, with the minimalist A-0 V2 amplifier due to arrive very soon for demonstration, prioritising quality over quantity.

An extremely simple configuration, consisting merely of a power amplifier with a selector and volume control, is identical to that of SOULNOTE‘s flagship integrated amplifier A-3.

Van loaded and all set for the big demo day tomorrow! All that remains tomorrow is to walk the dogs, vote, pick up snacks and nibbles, drop Little Grizzly off to volleyball and get to the venue by 11am to set up and fine tune!!

The verdict is in for us, with the Silent Angel SL1P streamer giving 75% of the performance of our reference Innuos Stream1/LPS1/PhoenixUSB Light, at less than 20% of the cost. Should we call it a giantkiller? Perhaps a giant botherer at least!
