Microsoft’s first legal case to stop people from creating harmful AI content.

Microsoft has filed its first legal case targeting a global network (Storm-2139) accused of creating thousands of harmful AI-generated images—often sexualized, misogynistic, or racist.

The network bypassed safeguards in Azure OpenAI and other platforms.
As a result Microsoft has:
Shut down illegal tools, enhanced AI filters, is helping victims and
has filed a civil suit against core offenders in Iran, UK, Hong Kong & Vietnam

“This is about protecting people—especially women and girls—from real harm,” says Courtney Gregoire, Microsoft’s Chief Digital Safety Officer.
This landmark case signals a zero-tolerance approach to AI abuse.

5 Signs of a Fake Email (Phishing Scam)

2️⃣ Urgent or Threatening Language – Scammers pressure you to act fast (e.g., "Your account will be locked!").

3️⃣ Unexpected Attachments or Links – Hover over links before clicking; they may lead to fake sites.

4️⃣ Poor Spelling & Grammar – Legitimate companies proofread their emails.

5️⃣ Unusual Requests for Personal Info – Banks and companies never ask for passwords via email.
