There are several reasons why the elderly cannot sleep at night🌛💤
Due to the age factor, the elderly’s ability to regulate sleep is weakened due to the decrease in the secretion of the pineal gland that controls sleep, the time to fall asleep is prolonged, and the time for deep sleep is shortened.
🏃Health factors, the older you are, the more basic diseases you have, which can lead to insomnia, such as cough, palpitations, dyspnea, high blood pressure, and diabetes can all affect sleep.
🏖Environmental factors, such as the temperature, humidity, and luminosity of the environment, can affect sleep.
👨👧👦Psychological factors, overthinking, forced retirement, and social isolation can all affect sleep.
