A little reintroduction from behind the nib. 😉
I’m Charlotte Cole, founder of Charcole.
My career began in graphic design, working within the world of luxury fashion and beauty — from Harrods in London to Carla Zampatti here in Sydney, and alongside some of the most recognisable names in the industry.
It was there that my obsession with typography, beautiful cotton soft paper, considered design and the art of detail began. Eventually, that love led me to calligraphy.
Countless hours spent with a pointed nib, endless sheets of paper and a fascination with the imperfections that make something feel truly handmade. From there came bespoke wedding stationery, personalised details and, naturally, engraving.That journey led me to become a Principal Artist for Dior, creating personalised pieces for one of the world’s most iconic luxury houses.
Alongside my work with luxury brands, I’ve had the privilege of creating bespoke wedding stationery and paper goods for couples across Australia — with my work also featured in Vogue and Vogue Brides Australia.
Today, Charcole sits somewhere between design, calligraphy, engraving and experience — creating beautiful, highly considered details for luxury weddings, events and brand activations.
