Welcome to my site, it’s been created so that you can see and share my latest work and to enable you to request my services on projects that need my creative flair. Firstly let me just say it’s not easy coming up with a name that encompasses everything you want it to say. Catchy, short and attention grabbing names are challenging. In the end it was an obvious choice, lifted straight from my portfo

Apparently SHE is an Argiope keyserlingi and more than welcome in our tiny courtyard in Victoria as she is super fascinating to watch and keeps the white fly in the garden under control. Bit sad that she probably won’t find a mate as she is usually only found from central NSW to Northern QLD... I’ve named her Charlotte 😉

So what do you do? - When you order 5 books to be printed and make this statement on the back cover "You are holding one of only five printed copies." Then the printer sends 16 of them!!!! Hi guys, put the finishing touches on the NEW Brightwater Horticultural Society website this week, just in time for the September spring flower show (if your in Nelson, check out the details for that on the site www.brightwaterhortsociety.co.nz.

Anzac biscuits have long been associated with the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) established in World War I. The biscuits were sent by wives and women's groups to soldiers abroad because the ingredients do not spoil easily and the biscuits kept well during naval transportation. Sadly my batch were probably in the oven for a bit too long. Graphic Details: Used my Wacom tablet and blob brush to trace some poppies in Illustrator then moved them into Photoshop to add red gouache brush behind the poppies. Font is Desdemona which not only has a lovely name but I thought also matched the era of these biscuits quite well. Finished it off with a grunge affect to add to the old world look.

Another special request, this time for Richard (Rich) who wanted a cheesecake. Have to admit that I’ve come to the end of all my ’tried and true’ recipes and am now in the 'first time’ zone, so was pretty pleased with how it turned out!. Graphic Details: For some reason I always think of cheesecake as quite old fashioned so have gone with a oldish font ‘Tango' which was designed by Colin Brignall in 1974. Then I sort of chopped it up, added a transparency, then popped both the graphic and cheesecake on a stock image background courtesy of pixabay.
