A Reuters investigation reveals the owner of Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp decided to accept high levels of fraudulent advertisements from China. Internal company documents show Meta wanted to minimize "revenue impact" caused by cracking down on the scams.

Windows 11 is here, it's been here for a couple of years. It's all OK. do the upgrade if it's offered. If you get the incompatible message, don't fret, I can do a couple of workarounds on some machines that are only just incompatible to get them acroos the line and get a few more years out of those machines that are 5-8 years of age.

Hi peeps, been way too long between posts, COVID lockdowns and all, the days, weeks and months just seem to blend together. Thanks for mostly leaving me alone during January, my official annual leave month, of course I still answer the phone and do my thing. Ah yes, passwords, they are still a thing, and the bane of my life. Do a password checkup now and then. Here is a great article on a password strategy. yep, 3 random words, use ones that relate to the company, maybe facebook could be AllDumbStuff.

The UK's NCSC is again reminding people that the three random word password method is one of the best ways to secure your accounts.
